Instructors may view a list of Student grades for a specific Gradebook item on the View Item Grades page.
Note: When this page is accessed for a Survey the fields will contain a check mark for those Students who have completed the Survey. Surveys are not graded; therefore, individual grades will not appear on this page. If a user has exceeded the time limit set for a survey, an exclamation point will be displayed. The Instructor may enter a value in the Grade field. After the value is entered, a check mark will be displayed in the Gradebook for the survey.
Follow the steps below to open the View Item Grades page.
Select Gradebook on the Control Panel.
Select a Gradebook item. The Item Options page will appear.
Click Item Grade List.
Instructors may view a Student attempt by clicking the grade that appears in the Published Grade field.
Instructors may overwrite the grade a Student has received in the Override Grade field. Enter the new grade and click Submit. When this option is used, the grade entered in this field will always be used to calculate the grade. For example, if the Instructor has allowed multiple attempts and selects the highest grade option for grading purposes, the score in the Override Grade column in used to calculate the grade, not the highest grade.
The Clear attempts for all students option allows the Instructor to delete an Assessment attempt for all Students in the class. For example, the Instructor may decide to have the class retake a quiz taken on a specific date; this option may be used to remove the existing grades from that day. Select an option in the drop-down list and click Go. For example, if theLowest scored attempt is selected, the lowest score for each student will be removed.
