Building Blocks are tools added to the Blackboard Learning System. Enable Extension Tools allows the Instructor to manage all the outside tools that the System Administrator has made available.
Follow the steps below to access the Enable Extension Tools page.
Click Manage Tools in the Course Options area of the Control Panel.
Click Enable Extension Tools.
Note: Blocks are not available with Blackboard Learning System - Basic Edition.

Select the check box next to those tools that will be used in the course.
Allow Guest
Select the check box next to those tools that Guests are allowed to view. If a tool is marked with N/A then Guests cannot view it.
