Add an External Link to the Course Menu. When users select this area in the Course Menu they will automatically be taken to the URL linked to this area.

Enter a name for the area.

Enter a Web site address for the link to access. When adding a URL, do so as http://www.blackboard.com, not www.blackboard.com or blackboard.com

Launch in a new window

Select the check box to open the URL in a new window when it is accessed by a user.

Allow quest access

Select the check box to make this area available to guests who view the course.

Allow observer access
|
Select the check box to make this area available to observers who view the course.

Make available for Student/ Participant users
|
Select the check box to make this area available to users enrolled in the course.
