Web Email is Web-based email software that enables users to access existing email accounts through the Blackboard Learning System. It is an optional service. Web Email gives the user the ability to view, compose, forward, and manage email from any computer or Internet-capable device with an active connection. Email information is stored in folders and arranged in columns that display the sender, subject, date, and size.
While users can send messages to other system users through Web email, the Blackboard Learning System also has a Send Email function that identifies people participating in the same courses so users can send emails to specific groups or individuals.
To open the Web Email page, click Web Email in the Tools box.
